I'm Feeling...

So very, very glad that it's fall.

Like I'm not quite ready to put out decorations yet.

Proud of my husband.

In awe of my God who answers prayers.

Thankful to my mom for taking me shopping today. I love you, Mama.

Excited about my new jewelry from Forever 21.

Ready for Annabeth's teeth to make their appearance. Bless her heart.

Amazed at the little person my son has become.

Achy in the heart because it's been way too long since I've seen my sister.

Grateful for a strong father.

Relieved that we don't have plans tonight.

Hungry for some roasted chicken and wild rice soup in a bread bowl.

Glad Curtis made cookie-brownie bars last night even though I thought he was crazy for starting that little project at 11 p.m.

Regretful that we stayed up so late.

Like a cup of tea is calling my name.

I too have been regretting nights of staying up late, cause I am not a morning person! I do wish I was a tea drinker, Matt is but for whatever reason I am scared of it I guess. I am loving the cooler temps, but I hear the warmer weather is coming back this weekend! :(

One of my sisters just moved to Dallas, so we've signed up on Skype to do video calls. She's been dying to see how her nephew has grown, so we were able to call her tonight and talk face to face. Your family may want to try that if you haven't already. I'm also going to try another service to be able to do video conferencing with my mother and sisters.

I love this post. You have inspired me to do an "I'm Feeling..." Post myself.

Fall hasn't arrive in North Alabama yet. But, we can see a few signs.

Have a blessed day!!!

You know, Amanda, I usually start my day with looking at all the blogs I have bookmarked. Yours is the first and I am so thankful to God. You give my day a great lift and I say to you, young mother, keep 'um comin'. You have such a wonderful heart.

I am in love with this weather- even if it is a little rainy.

I need to crawl up in the attic and gt those decorations out.

That soup sounds wonderful.

So thankful the Lord answers prayer.

Hope you get to see Melissa soon. I am homesick for my family too.

You are blessed!

we stayed up too late last night as well. Just playing cards with a couple of friends. But Ginny has now gotten ahead of us in sleep accumulation. so now I feel stupid.

I think a cup of hot chai sounds like a great idea.

I'm feeling tired after working a big part of the day finishing up my lesson for the ladies class I teach.

I'm feeling glad that I try to daily read a blog by someone about half my age (that would be you!)so that I can keep a fresh perspective on things!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Don't you just love hubbys who aren't afraid of the kitchen?

Enjoy your night at home with your family. We are thankfully doing the same.

I've had this post on my mind since you wrote it. Well, really just one line of it -- the one about you saying thank you to your mom for spending time with you.

I'd give just about anything to have the opportunity to spend an afternoon with my mom. I like that you're thankful and grateful for what you've got, that you don't take it for granted.

forever 21 jewelry is the bomb.com i just bought a REAL cute owl necklace last weekend...

i am mourning the loss of dairy in my diet (allergies) and frantically searching for equally as appealing desserts (that don't taste like playdough)

2 points for shopping moms :) my dad (ironically) is my shopping partner (not for fashion input, but he tends to like the same types of splurges i do...and you know dads and doing sweet things for their daughters ;)
