Interview with Jackson

I don't think I've ever done one of these before. I was having blogger's block today and Annalee inspired me. I'm sure there are better questions to ask but I was lazy and just googled "funny questions to ask your kids." I'm not sure this is funny, but number 11 made me laugh. And the answer is no!

1. What is something Mommy always says to you?
No.

2. What makes Mommy happy?
Being silly.

3. What makes Mommy sad?
Not doing what she says.

4. How does Mommy make you laugh?
To tell jokes.

5. What was Mommy like as a child?
Me.

6. How old is Mommy?
I can't tell.

7. How tall is Mommy?
Big!

8. What is Mommy's favorite thing to do?
To play with me.

9. What does Mommy do when you're not around?
Read.

10. If Mommy becomes famous, what will it be for?
Be on monkey bars.

11. What is Mommy really good at?
*Whispers* Are you good at golfing?

12. What is Mommy not very good at?
Playing baseball.

13. What does Mommy do for her job?
Help me.

14. What is Mommy's favorite food?
Chinese!

15. What makes you proud of Mommy?
Getting me a toy.

16. If Mommy were a cartoon character, who would she be?
Minnie Mouse.

17. What do you and Mommy do together?
Get snacks.

18. How are you and Mommy the same?
We have the same skin.

19. How are you and Mommy different?
Because you have long hair and I have short hair.

20. How do you know Mommy loves you?
Cause you love me. *How do you know?* Because you're my mommy.

21. Where is Mommy's favorite place to go?
To Chinese! *Chinese what?* Restranot!

That was such a sweet post. I love listening to my girls and how they view our family and the world around them. Our children truly are a blessing from the Lord.

Haha! That is adorable and a great idea to see what your kids will say. I loved #18 too- what makes you the same. My son just turned 2 so I may have to think of some questions for him to answer.

Wow! Who knew that someone could be famous for being on monkey bars! That's the first one that made me laugh. I sort of lost track after that. You're right. #11 was really funny! I wish I'd done this with my kids when they were little. I wonder what they'd say now?

So cute. You should ask him the same questions in two years and I bet his answers will be totally different!

And here I thought your favorite food was Mexican... :)

What a great idea and yes it was funny. Loved it! You should do it with AB when she's older, maybe even ask them these questions again when they're 18 and see what answer you get.

I thought #10 was pretty hilarious...monkey bars? We'd get along great if you've got love for Chinese food. I could seriously go for some fried rice right now.

Cute! You should ask Jackson
questions more, these are precious! Minnie Mouse made me chuckle; he must love his mommy and think she's sweet like Minnie!

Oh, Amanda how precious!! You made my heart smile with that post :)

I don't usually do this but I have a friend who really needs prayer tonight and I know alot of moms visit your site. Mallory is in critical conditon. I have watched as she has ministered to many children and she is but a young girl herself. She will be recieving a medication to help her lungs tonight or tomorrow. It has never been given this way before.
Her site is www.teammal.org

Thanks so much for your prayers! Oh, girls hold on to those sweet moments. They grow so fast!

It made me laugh too! SO cute! I have two adopted twin baby boys from Ethiopia! Can't wait for them to be able to talk soon so I can ask them those questions. Although I don't think I'll be as good at the monkey bars as you are! :)

I loved the #20. Reminded me of when the girls were small. I was at a gas station filling my car, and I realized I had forgotten my wedding ring (from doing dishes). I said, "Oh no! People won't know I'm married." Karalee said, "Momma, they will see us." Having children = married. Precious.

he is precious.
love this!

Love it -- love the idea! I will use for my project 365 album I am creating. When you asked him how the two of you are different I was expecting a "birds and bees" lesson - instead it was only the length of your hair!! :)
