Enlarge at your own risk. Jackson was growing lettuce out of his nose all week.
My boys doing the "We made it!" dance on top of the stump. We take pictures on the stump every time we go.
Jackson and me on the day it snowed.
The UNO Mafia.
This picture makes me so happy.
Sledding all the way down the driveway, which we caused to ice over. We almost had an accident when the Suburban couldn't make it up the hill and started rolling backward. Scary!
Pancakes at The Virginian. Don't miss these if you visit Jackson Hole.
"The Grand." You should really enlarge this one.
Hubs was the fire man.

Wearing Daddy's big "boot shoes."
The Mister was a sledding fool!
After Thanksgiving lunch down at the ranch where our friends stayed. Curtis is checking football scores on ESPN.com, I am posting a blog entry for my mom, and Jackson is playing checkers.
Definitely a framer.

Notice that my child is screaming. It was so incredibly bright.
What a beautiful place!!! Great to hear that you had a wonderful time with your family and friends. I have always wanted to go on a vacation with my friends, it just has not happened yet, but I bet it is a blast. The pictures of your Jackson are adorable, especially the one where he is crying :) I say that because I just had a friend come over and take pictures of my family (for the Christmas Card) and I had one that cried on and off the whole time :) I have 3 boys!!! Loved your Thankful list, and as always I enjoyed reading your posts.

What beautiful pics! I am a picture fanatic! I love to take pictures ... I've been SOOOO bad about getting them in albums though! Your pictures make me sad we didn't get to be with my family for thanksgiving as we normally are. Why did we have to move so far away? And why did hubs have to work the day after? ;( Glad you guys had an awesome time!
ReplyDeleteOk..."The Grand" makes me wanna hop the next plane and go out there! We were just talking over the weekend about when is the right age to take 3 boys out there?
ReplyDeleteThey have never seen that part of His creation and I only have once.

Amazing, amazing, amazing pictures. Whoever said "a picture is worth a thousand words" was right on the money!! I love Thanksgiving--it is my very favorite holiday.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can pick a favorite picture. The ones of Jackson enjoying the snow are adorable, I love the scenery, the picture of Melissa and Colin is super sweet.
ReplyDeletePut this post together with the one below, and it sounds like you had a perfect week. What a blessing!
(And welcome back! I missed reading your stories while you were gone.)
I am so jealous of the snow and the mountains that I can hardly stand it! Reminds me of our honeymoon in the Canadian Rockies in winter. I'll take snow over the beach any time. I can't wait to get back out west sometime!

ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures! Thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are amazing...it looks like Jackson had a good time in his cute outfit! He just needed to be out of the 80 degree Texas weather to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures and wonderful memories of your Thanksgiving! You all have a beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it.
What fun! Jackson is a cutie-patootie in his winter wear! Glad you guys had a good time. Looking at the pictures makes me want some snow. We are heading to Santa Fe over the Christmas break for a ski trip w/ our longtime friends and all the kids so I can't wait! Here, in Austin, you see snow every five years or so.
ReplyDeleteOkay, and I had to chuckle at your snow mobile story. I think you're right in that we become scaredy cats once we have kids. Too much at stake!
Looks like a great time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Sue
Those pics rock sister! What a blast. I sure love you!
ReplyDeleteYou have an impossibly pretty family.
ReplyDeleteInside and Out. ;)
Lisa
Too funny. Jenna at A Joyful Journey put a link to your blog on hers and so I jumped over and was looking at pictures thinking why would this girl look so familiar and then I got to the picture with your mother. I am seeing her on a weekly basis while doing the study "Jesus the One and Only" and I have checked out the LPM blog before also. What a beautiful family you have.
ReplyDeleteSmiles!
Great pictures! We are from the east coast, but plan on visiting out west this summer or next. These pictures make me want to go sooner!
ReplyDeleteThis place looks downright amazing. I am glad that you had such a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteHave you got back into the routine of things? It has been a little hard for me.
Looks like so much fun!! I want that hat for Christmas...I've already spotted one at Banana :) Great taste :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun! Brad really wants to visit Wyoming, but I don't think I'd know what to do on an "outdoorsy" vacation. Maybe you can give me a few tips!!! Mel's man looks like a hottie. Tell I said congrats!
ReplyDeletemoriah calls them "boot shoes" as well! all of a sudden, i'm reminded of being at round top one year, and teaching your mom how to swing dance in the barn.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pics. I've been out of town since Thanksgiving and couldn't wait to get back to a computer so I could see them. We are going to Jackson Hole in Jan. with my parents, siblings, cousins, etc. and I can't wait! My youngest will be 16 months when we go, so I was using Jackson as a comparison. Glad to hear he enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteThe mini magna doodle is a great idea! Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!
