Playdate Pics

Janelle just sent me some pictures from last week's playdate at The Tubes.

The other girls gave me some advice on how not to fly out of the slide like a torpedo. But Janelle was poised at the bottom with her camera in case I did!

Jackson likes to run down this ramp...

...and fall in my arms. I like it too.

Great pics! If you think about it pray for my brother. He severed the major artery in his arm and some ligaments. He needs surgery and we pray he will have use of his arm in the future. We are super close and it's killing me that i'm soooo far away!

Too cute! Sorry we missed the tubes. But you'll probably never catch me going down the torpedo slide.

What fun!! I seo0nt the day at the park with the kids today and there is nothing like the way they love on you when they are out having fun. They just like me a whole lot better when they are getting all their wiggles out and I amnot telling them what to do the whole time. My son who is twenty months especially loves to climb the rope ladders. It kills me everytime because I am so afraid heis going to fall but he hasn't yet-Thank you Lord!!

I think it is funny that you are getting so many comments on your hat...because that is what I was thinking about when I saw the pictures!! Where do you get those cute hats?!?

Be careful on those tube slides! I say that now....after I went down one with my daughter on my lap a week after her first birthday (she's 11 now). She kind of panicked when we were making a turn, kicked out both legs and stiffened (is that a word??) them and the one on the outside jammed into the hard wall of the slide and it broke her ankle! I went in to panick mode myself! She had to wear a little full leg cast for 4 weeks and it was awful. I am always paranoid about those now. Just sayin'....

Glad y'all had a fun, safe day!! :-)

Hi! I was wondering if you can tell me where "the Tubes" is located/website, we are headed to DFW next week and might need a place to burn some energy. It looks like a ton of fun.

Are the tubes at the mall?? That sure does look like IBC to me! A friend of mine used to work in children's ministry there. My kids love the tubes.

My favorite part is when they run into our arms full steam ahead!!!!
And, knock us down!!!

A much better day than the "mall incident!" :)

Oh my, does that bring back memories or what?? It never failed that I had to chase one of my kids out of the "tube." And you know what I disliked the most?? Feeling like I was "trapped" like a hamster. I swear I had nightmares about that!!!
