Praise God!

I talked to Sunni about an hour ago and she sounded so great. Tiffani was out of surgery and it had gone very well. That old valve was fused to the breastbone, but it ended up not causing any problems. Thank You, Jesus!

Sunni and Emili had to take Ava to the ER tonight (for 3 yucky hours) to get checked out for pneumonia again. She was still running a fever after several days. Thankfully, it is only a virus. Let's pray that God will just make it dissipate so that she doesn't have to think about it anymore.

Tim will spend the night at the hospital with his sweet bride, but he can't stay in her room. Even if he has to sleep upright in a chair, I'm sure he will sleep well with this surgery behind them! God bless that hubby!

Thankful and relieved,
Amanda

You are such a wonderful person and I'm striving to be the best "Amanda" I can be when any of my dear sisters is in need.

Still praying for all of them. And, thank you Jesus for the work You have done today! You are amazing and mighty! We love ya!

That's such wonderful news, Amanda.

I've been struck recently by the verse in Philippians 2 where Paul says (about Epaphroditus): "Indeed, he was ill, and almost died. But God had mercy on him, and not on him only but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow."

It's somehow very sweet to me that only one chapter after Paul said "For me to live is Christ and die is gain," he expresses such strong feelings about someone being spared from death.

God is always good. He always knows the best, even when "the worst" happens. But how precious when we can rejoice that He spared us sorrow upon sorrow.

Those are my deep thoughts this morning. Now, for coffee. ;-)

Thank You Lord! I was thinking of Tiffani off and on throughout the day. So thankful to hear things went well. Will she ever have to have more surgery for this or was this the last one?

Hallelujah, Amen, Amen...He is the Rock on which we stand...couldn't help but borrow from Marilyn McCoo's old song [you were hmm, maybe 10 when that was popular!!!]

Happy Friday from the Firecracker girlies.

PS I had to do a double take on Tuesday at playgroup at W Bend mall, there was a cute little boy with big blue eyes with a blonde mommy, but when I got close enough for my old eyes to see better, not y'all. :-)
