Curtis and I went to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags to celebrate New Year's while our sweet friend Rachael stayed with Jackson. It was freezing cold, but the air was dry and the sky was clear. It was a beautiful night, everyone was in a cheerful mood, and the hot chocolate was flowing. What a blast! My family used to go to Holiday in the Park at Astroworld (R.I.P.) every year. I am so happy that I can now add my own Holiday in the Park commemorative mug to my cupboards! Well, it's in the dishwasher right now, but soon it will be in there. Curt couldn't really understand my deep need to fork over $5 for that, but he humored me. And now my life is a little more complete.
And also? Happy birthday to Hubs! I'd like to dedicate this song, which happened to be playing tonight while we were eating at Bennigan's and discussing that we don't really "have a song," to you, Curtis Wayne. Please try not to think of that old Golden Grahams commercial. Tonight when we were screaming like little girls on the Titan, and when we were laughing our heads off on the Scrambler, I remembered exactly how I felt when I was first falling in love with you. Your smile and your laugh are irresistible to me. My 2008 resolution? Find out how I can make you smile and laugh more. I love you!
Yippee you're home!!!! I'm glad you had a good trip and fun new year's eve! I look forward to seeing the pictures of Jackson's Christmas!! Happy Birthday to your hubby too. Cathy
