Hello all. I am just checking in to say that I am still alive. Last week we went to youth camp for a few days and once we got back I immediately headed to Atlanta for Deeper Still. We had an incredible time (seriously incredible) but I think everyone who went is probably still exhausted! Monday and today were also rather crazy, so I am looking forward to Wednesday, which is the first day in over a week that I don't have anything planned. Give Him praise. I have lots of work to catch up on and I might even take a nap. That sounds nice. Which is why I need to go to bed right this minute. When I'm not so tired that all I can do is whine and cry about it, I will be back! Bless y'all for stopping by!
Good to have you back.
ReplyDeleteI figured you were okay since I've seen pictures of you alive and well at boomama and bigmama's blogs!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I don't think I've commented in a long time, but I'm a faithful reader and have really missed your posts!
What a whirwind! Welcome home...my guess is that day off will also involve lots and lots of laundry.
ReplyDeleteComing home is my favorite part of any trip--until I come face to face with all those overflowing laundry baskets. Ugh.
Rest well!
Joanne
Amanda,
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice to meet you and give you a hug. When you introduced me to Janelle, I honestly felt like I knew her already and would have recognized her in a instant. I love that about blogging and women's events!
Girl, I'm exhausted!! I came to Deeper Still after having been in Atlanta on vacation for the previous 7 days. So you can imagine how my last two days have been. I've been seriously fatigued, but God spoke a word over the weekend through all of the speakers and I was so blessed to be there that I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Get rest and have a great rest of the week!
Blessings,
Dori
Praying for a purposeful, rest-filled day tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove,
holly
Missed you and Jackson. Hope you give us a new photo of the little guy. Blessings to you and the boys in your family.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you back in the blogging world!! You've been missed.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
~Cheryl
Glad you are back! Heard the trip was awesome! Sundail sounds like a hoot! We ate there pre-kids and I wound up getting sick as well ... turns out I was pregnant b/c I don't normally get motion sickness ... maybe Melissa and Colin will have some news to share with you all soon :)
ReplyDeleteThe blogs from "Deeper Still" have just blown me away. The recaps and pictures have been so awesome.
ReplyDeleteGet some rest. Thankful for another day!
Hugs~
Fran

ReplyDeletebtw - I have D. Still envy but I'm so glad you girls had a fabbo time. It must have been great for you and Janelle to have a girl trip.
Hope you feel restored after your rest.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I've come by your blog. I'll look forward to reading more.
Glad you are back to blogging. I am so glad you had a great time at youth camp and Deeper Still. When we get back from vacation I always feel like I need a vacation from coming back from vacation - get some rest girl!
ReplyDeleteWell, when you DO get back to us, I'm going to need some details on how you made your hair look so full in the infamous Big/Boo/You/Janelle photo. Because HELLO, YOUR HAIR WAS BOUNTIFUL. Not just beautiful, but bountiful indeed.
ReplyDeleteGirl - you deserve a long nap and a day to do NOTHING! Enjoy!
ReplyDeletePosting and whining about being tired is SOOO much better than not posting for what seems like months. :) Missed ya! Hope your Wednesday is fun and restful for you!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are home and well Amanda! I've enjoyed reading about your newly formed friendships with Melanie and Sophie on their blogs.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your nap today friend.

Glad you're alive!! I read your mom's post and knew you were in Atlanta. I hope y'all had just the BEST time together with your sister and friend Janelle! That's awesome. How neat y'all got to meet some of the siestas too! Glad you're home, get some rest and have a super Fourth!
ReplyDeleteLisa

ReplyDeleteI love you, sweet sister! Get some rest! See you tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I just wanted you to know that I saw your Mr. Beckham on your mom's blog - he is just the most adorable, precious looking dog. He's got "Sweet" written all over him. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the cute pictures of you with with Boo and big! Sooooo fun!
ReplyDeleteDeeper Still sounded just amazing!
Hope you get caught up on your rest - take that nap!
Missed you! I'm loving reading Sophie and Melanie's recaps of the weekend. What an amazing time!!
ReplyDeleteI'd give my right arm (I'm left-handed--teehee.) to join you guys there someday!
Hope you get some much needed (and deserved) rest!! As much as possible with a 2 year old in the house anyway :)
ReplyDeleteEXHAUSTED is the right way to describe it.
ReplyDeleteBUT I loved every minute of Deeper Still.
Three extraordinary women, a wonderful praise team, Biblical teaching (complete with hand motions) and a GOD who always shows up.
Priceless~
You have been missed! I kept stopping by, hoping to get a Deeper Still update (with pictures?).
ReplyDeleteBy the way, just started the Daniel bible study yesterday with a group of girls from church. Wow. Love it already.
Hope you are well rested... I'll check back soon!
I am so glad you are back, and sincerely for very selfish reasons. I miss coming every day and seeing neat pictures and hearing some really good stories of young mothers. I know you have a whole life outside of blogging, but, praise God, you are bbaaacck!!!
ReplyDeleteNaps are imperative
ReplyDeleteNot that I ever knew you were gone for a few days b/c I've fallen off the blog world for nearly a year, and am only now redeeming myself, but I'm glad y'all had fun.
and PS - long distance is pooh! (grin)
