Amanda Bitter Jones

If you were/are a New Kids fan, you might enjoy reading this recap of their recent concert in Houston. I was laughing so hard by myself in my living room that my eyes were watering. Just wanted to share. I'm so ticked that none of my old NKOTB pals could go. I promise I'm not bitter though. (If any of my friends DID go, it would be best not to tell me.)

  4. Sorry, but I never was a NKOTB fan (well, I didn't know who they were... I guess I was the odd age older than the teens at the time they were hot?). But I did click on your link and read the post and did laugh out loud at one part: where her sister who'd had two kids jumped up and down and... oh.
    I laughed.

    Been there.
    Done that.
Paid nice Mr. Urologist to fix it already. (oh yes I did. and I'm not even f o r t y yet).

Be prayin over that the next several months Amanda. With me, it was that second childbirth that did me in there. Everything was fine up until little sister came along and took forever to come out.
    Pray!

    :)

  7. Amanda-I have to admit I am going to be bummed right along with you. NKOTB are coming to Tampa and well, I decided not to go. I am 23 weeks prego with twins and could not imagine this almost 32 year old waddling into the arena to see the once loves of my life. They are here on the 2nd of November and well, I do believe that I am going to regret it!
The posts that you linked us to are just to funny! I can totally see myself being totally crazy when they sang. I saw them twice as a teen and oh the memories!

I have been keeping up with your blog since I found out we were do around the same time(me feb 16th). I totally feel your pregnant girl pains! My girl/boy twins will hopefully be delivered at 36 weeks, which will be a few weeks before you. We will just be happy to get to that point!

Take care of yourself and I so enjoy reading your blog!

  9. New Kids on the Block, that's funny!:) My older sister loved that group. I can only remember the "Happy Birthday" song, and maybe two others. I was, like, eight or something...:)

  17. You sweet young thing. You and your New Kids friends crack me up. Reading this post I had no idea who New Kids are, then over at your friends blog I remembered, Oh Yeah! My 29 year old daughter had such a super crush on these guys way back when. I'll have to tip her off on your friends blog. :)
In my day, my guys were the Beatles!! I loved George Harrison. Cried and cried watching them on the Ed Sullivan show. I may be older than you but we're no different with our school girl rock crushes. The faces just change.
