I hate playgrounds. And it turns out that Pregnant Girl should stop visiting them while she's hormonally fragile and emboldened. Otherwise I might bite some kid's head off, curse his blind and deaf mother under my breath, and cry all the way home.
actually, that is a good thing to stay away from. it is, as i am sure you are aware of, one of the top three most germiest places and I wonder why...stay healthy. :)
That is too funny. I just took the girls to the local playground yesterday and there were teenagers blocking the tops of all of the slides. When Brea climbed up to go down the slide, they looked at her like she had a 2nd head...really. Is this the new hangout? Whatever!
I had a similar experience at the McDonald's playground when a child shoved my son at the entrance to the playground and nearly knocked him off the platform! I packed up our things and we left!
only baby bullies go to playgrounds! Take Bibby with you next time. Us grandmas will speak up to blind moms and baby bullies! In a godly way of course!!
I am so sorry! A friend called me the other day and asked what I was doing and I said that I was in the middle of managing the chick-fil-a playground. i'm so with you!
Oh my goodness Amanda! I have the same type feelings towards playgrounds as you especially while preggo! i had a horrible experience at McDonalds when pregnant last winter oh man! I did cry all the way home too! Bless your heart!!
Oh...Amanda...never had a baby BUT I KNOW ABOUT MENOPAUSE! Kind of maybe a little bit the same, I don't know cause I never have been there...oh well...sad. Allison
LOL- been there
ReplyDeletei agree...playgrounds--whether in an outdoor park or a fast-food restaurant--are NOT of God! they make me very nervous.
ReplyDeleteHugs! Hope your day gets better.
ReplyDeleteOkay so no playgrounds for you lady!!
ReplyDeleteYou probably didn't mean to but you made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteThose playgrounds can definitely be dangerous...you should also avoid the indoor..McDonald's kind as well!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh really hard!

ReplyDeleteAmanda, I think I just snorted I was laughing so hard!
ReplyDeleteI've SO been there. But not recently. My poor triplets have NEVER been to a park and they're 15 months old! Bad mommy...
I'm sure whatever got you frustrated...DESERVED your frustration (does that make sense? i'm trying to say you had a right to be frustrated).
Heh-heh... Many a mother loses her cool at a playground.
ReplyDeleteOkay - WOW!!! Umm, yeah I think it's safe to say that you need to avoid playgrounds like the plague. At least until baby girl is born.
ReplyDeleteOh, I know how you feel! I have scolded so many children at public playgrounds while their Moms were gossipping on a bench with their 'friends.'
ReplyDeleteStay away from the playgrounds!!

ReplyDeleteI agree, just thank God it was not the playground ridden with the rotavirus we ran into!!! That really makes me hate playgrounds!!!!
ReplyDeletehahaha! i've definately been there...even when i'm not prego!
ReplyDeleteHonestly...I'm so glad that we are over them because I did all the above mentioned things.
ReplyDeleteToday a better day?!
Hugs,
Fran
