Spring Loaded

We went to our church's big spring celebration today. I have lots of fun pics, but first I'd like to show you where Annabeth's been loitering lately.

Last night we gave the sippy cup another try. And she did it!

Today Annabeth wore her Easter bunny dress. She was so darling. That jacket was sent to her by Emmy and it is unbearably cute! And so soft! I need to take a pic of it with the hood up. It has ears!

This was the 3-Pre-K egg hunt.

I'm the mom that always forgets to bring a basket. Jackson embraced the random plastic bag from the back of the car.

Jackson had fun picking out his 10 eggs.

Then he got to trade them in for a bag of candy. Really good candy, I might add!

And a bouncy ball! He loves these but I always find a way to make them disappear. They're not really safe in a house with a baby.

The Jones boys and the Altic boys.

This was the 0-2-year-old egg hunt.

Literally, the eggs disappeared in 20 seconds and Annabeth and I didn't get in there fast enough.

But it's all good because I really just wanted a cute picture of my girl.

And we still have Easter morning anyway.

Bibby just got here to play in the backyard with us while Curtis is at the Duke/Baylor game. I can't even bring myself to watch! (My hubby is a die hard Duke fan in case you didn't know.) Adios, peeps!

What a beautiful dress!

My Vols lost today. :(

They looked like they had a fun time at the egg hunt. :)

Our church is having our egg hunt next Sunday after church service. I am hoping my 21 month old great nephew will come.

I hope Curtis's team has better luck than my team. :-)

Have a wonderful evening!

What a fun day for the kids! It looks like there were plenty of eggs for everyone...

Annabeth's dress is adorable and I love her hair! Did she do the inflated slide, looks pretty high.

Have y'all seen the bluebonnets--they're springing up all over the highway between CS and Houston! I just love them--you would think with all the rain we've had we should have a bumper crop!!

Oh how fun...loved that Jackson gathered eggs into your random plastic bag. I just laughed when I saw that pic. Looks like he and Annabeth had a grand ole time, even if AB did not get any eggs. You certainly got cute pictures though. Today we had my nephew Cole's birthday party at the lake and I got some cute pictures of him and the sister too. Can't wait to get them on the computer and check them out.
Happy Sunday Jones's!

Amanda,
Thank you SO much for your refreshing honesty about mothering and more. It has inspired me to be equally frank on my own blog. What freedom there is to be found in simply being REAL! Bless you!
OH - I adore the bunny dress, by the way.

Ok, your children are A-DOR-ABLE!!!!
Seriously...could Jackson be any cuter? And, Annabeth is simply angelic. I could stare at little girls forever since I don't have any. ;)

Glad y'all had a good day!

Aw, Amanda, I am loving Annabeth in her bunny dress! And, I am so sorry for laughing, but Jackson's plastic bag is awe-some. (That's real life, forgetting things!) He embraced it well!

That Curtis Jones has some impeccable taste when it comes to basketball.

Go Duke!

Well, please tell Curtis that I am extremely bummed that Kentucky and Duke aren't going to get that chance to meet up again. If he remembers, today is the day 18 years ago that Duke beat UK for the right to go to the final four. :( Why am I telling you all this? The kids sure do look cute, what fun for them to do this! Glad you guys had alot of fun!!

Duke did it! How fun for Curtis to be there. (Although one of my senior girls was over tonight and her brother goes to Baylor. It was a rough evening for her.)

What kind of sippy cup is that? My daughter caught on at 6 or 7 months--all she had to do was see her daddy sip from it and she did the same. My son, on the other hand, doesn't want to do anything but chew on them. He's almost 11 months. I've not seen the kind Annabeth has--maybe I haven't been looking. Help a sister out! :)

Prayers and blessings,
Rebecca
