Dewberry Farm 2010

Dewberry Farm is one of the neatest things we have in the Houston area. Each fall they have a big pumpkin patch and lots of fun things for kids to do. We were so busy this fall that we didn't make it out there before November. Curtis had all of Thanksgiving week off of work, so we took advantage of it and did a some activities that are best with both parents. The greatest thing about the day we went to Dewberry was that it was uncrowded. I also got some really delicious honey. The worst thing was that it wasn't as cute without the pumpkins and it was ridiculously hot. This is when I got in a bad mood that I didn't shake until we went to Santa's Wonderland the next night.

These first two pictures are just for fun because I love Annabeth's outfit.

This reminds me of Superman.

Superman crashed into the wooden pole .5 seconds after I took this.

A little dazed, but tough.

We got some kettle corn for the ride home. I was holding out the bag for Jackson to take a handful and ended up pouring it in his lap. He did not seem to mind!

It's hard to believe how big Jackson is compared to the last two years!

I cannot get over how tall Jackson is. You looked beautiful Amanda in that first shot, that is a great color on you! So fun - and I thought the pics of Curtis and Jackson were so precios.

Ah, beautiful, you all! Jackson's smile --- and Annabeth? That girl makes a heart just burst happiness!

Snow? Could I send snow? We have a few flakes or more we could spare and that might cool things down? The Farmer had to get out the biggest tractor today and he spent about an hour blowing snow all down the lane, around the barn. I could send snow to you --- and Jackson could come have a ride in the tractor?

I send much love and gratitude, Amanda...
A Snow-bound and very thankful Ann

We were in Houston for Thanksgiving week and I agree with you about the "hot" weather - until Thanksgiving Day anyway. I am usually just a lurker but I couldn't resist today. Your kids are so stinky cute - I love seeing pictures! Also have been to Santa's Wonderland (both my girls are Aggies '98 and "05) and loved it also.

Have I mentioned that Annabeth is ADORABLE! No one should be allowed to be that cute! And again, Jackson is growing up way too fast! Sit on him or something would you!!!!

I was thinking the same thing as I was reading your post - Jackson is so big! Boy, do they ever grow fast :(

It looks like you all had fun despite the heat. I know how it is though, we Floridians beg for the cold weather during this time of the year. Then before we know it, we're begging to bring out our tanks and flip flops again :)

I've been wanting to take my boys to dewberry farms and we almost went during october, but I heard the lines were crazy long so we decided to sit it out, maybe we should go after, doesn't seem like to bad of lines in your pics.

I had a laugh at a hand snuck in one picture to keep a little girl in place! We keep saying we'll make it out there one day. Maybe next year!

These pictures are so cute!! Is Jackson in a boaster seat?! Oh my goodness are kids are getting so big. However, I think Ella will still be in her car seat when she's 16 if she doesn't start growing. We'll have to put it in the driver's seat for her to be able to drive legally. :-)
