The Plumber's Daughter

In honor of my father, grandfather (call John and get Moore), great-grandfather, great uncles, and second cousins, please allow me to share this sophisticated and genteel piece of photography.

Outhouse in the Tetons

And the companion piece, Urchin in the Outhouse.

Laughing at the slogan!!! Very cute urchin, too! We have a picture of our oldest at about Annabeth's age sitting on an ancient Greek potty in Philippi!

Girl, I don't comment much, but I just have to say WHAT A VIEW! Not the outhouse - that's interesting, but those amazing mountains. We were there in early June and it was incredible. Going back in the Fall of 2012 -- love the west! Hope y'all had a wonderful time.

I thought this was very appropriate since your last two posts have been about potty training. :-)

The mountains in the background are stunning. I'm from MI and my dream family vacation is to go out west and see the stunning landscapes.

Hey Amanda, such cute pics!! Quick question, when you were doing WW, did you ever hit a plateau? If so, any tips for breaking through? Thanks!

Funny, outhouse! How old is that outhouse anyway? Yikes:) Makes me smile, too funny!

Hahaha, cute. Did you acutally use this outhouse? :)

That is too funny. Why is it that as mothers we have so many potty related experiences? I am new to blogging and I love yours. It is so encouraging and real. I hope it is ok to add this... My sister and I have begun a new ministry that was given to us by the Lord for just the purpose of encouragement and sharing the love if Christ in a unique way, through secret sister commissions. I would be so grateful if you checked it out. It is www.thebarnabascommission.org
Again thank you for the great blog, it always makes me smile. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you.

And how did she do? I used to have a daughter who was terrified of port-a-potties and outhouses! Oh the stories and efforts we went through to get her to use it! :)

That is hilarious. And beautiful! The scenery, not the outhouse.

Too funny!

Goodness! With beautiful background scenery like that, I might not mind an Outhouse at all!!! :-)

Love the pics! My grandmother grew up on a farm with an outhouse. Her bathrooms at the time I was growing up always had pictures of outhouses. I think it was to remind herself to be thankful for indoor plumbing!
