Chlorine Hair

Annabeth is rounding the bend toward the 18 month mark.

Her sweet little form and facial expressions charm me every day. I don't think she's ever been cuter than in this swimsuit coverup and chlorine hair.

She's a beautiful girl with a lovely name, but we can't help calling her Abe...Aberson...Abey Baby. And sometimes just Sis.

Lately her hobbies include meddling in everything, having conversations in an unknown language, carrying around her dolls, and smacking her brother.

Nevertheless, Jackson is Annabeth's current favorite person. He is very patient and tolerant of her little sister antics, but he does find it amusing when she has to go in time out. (She's there currently.) When I bring her out of her room each morning, she does a roll call of everyone in our family. Mommy? Daddy (Dayee?) Bubba? Bubba was named first today.

PS - Annabeth would like her Nana and Pappaw to know that she can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks.

Mine will be 18 months is just a couple of wks too. Thanks to your hysterical time out pics, I started 'the Naughty Spot' and I am amazed that she will endure the 70 seconds of scorn! She visits it at least once a day! Btw, AB's hair is coming in beautifully!

Your children are so beautiful. I can,t see the rest of your swing set. If you don,t have one, you can buy a little tikes swing for AB at Target or Walmart. just switch out one of the seats for now.

She is adorable, Amanda! I'm really enjoying this stage of 18 months...even though we've hit the toddler/discipline stuff and I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing at times. :) But it really is fun, and it's special to get a glimpse of how much Annabeth and Jackson love each other.

My little girl is 12 yr. old and heading off to middle school camp for the first time on Monday. This post made me think of when she was so little, and now I'm all teary eyed. Gee, thanks. :)

She really is a cutie!

I'm so glad that Annabeth is speaking in that unknown language too. I can't tell you how many times a day that Matt and I laugh at Cael and his strange language.

Such a little DOLL! I love that she loves her older brother. (Just don't be shocked when at 16 she's still hitting him cause he's annoying her.) :)

Amanda, she is ridiculously precious! I don't know how you can put her in time out... although I'm sure in a few months, I will TOTALLY understand! ;)

So...I am cracking up that you put her hobbies as of late.
Small Confession: I do watch toddlers and tiaras while I talk to the moms on the show as if they can hear me. I am always in shock over the show. Esp when they enter an 1 year old in a pageant and list their hobbies as crawling, eating, and smiling. lol
Aberson is a total doll!!
