Besides a baby, what pregnant women get in return for surrendering their waistlines is nine months of thick, glorious hair. It’s a beautiful thing. However, when Baby is just a few months old (about the time Mommy is seeing hints of her returning waistline) it all falls out. Soon her face is framed by the re-growth—lovely inch-long hairs called baby bangs. This blog is named for that charming little phenomenon.

Oh, I had a feeling you were here in the record heat last week...I prayed you all would find yourselves in short lines, and fun times. I guess it does not compare to Melissa's 120's heat...but in the city of asphalt and high humidity sometimes one must dig deep to survive...but what am I talking about you are a Texan, you know heat. Glad you all had a blast.

Hey, thanks for stopping by! I didn't realize y'all had gone on vacation. (How'd I miss that?) How very fun! We took our kids (back when there were only two) to Disney World--and it was the best!! EX-hausting...and we DID contract the stomach virus while there, but when we weren't puking our guts out, it really was the best! :)

We got back on Sunday and had just the best time! Grace didn't want to come home. I can only imagine just how much Jackson enjoyed it. ;o)

I have a pic of my oldest girl at Disney in her polka dot Minnie out at 2 yrs old and the latest Disney pic is her engagement at Belle's Garden. (She did a re-enactment so we could take pictures of the event! She's a hoot!)

If we lived closer, I think we'd be great shopping buddies - the cute pink Polo dress and bloomers she's worn in previous posts and these darling sunglasses - my baby girl has the exact same dress and shades! I think you've got GREAT taste! And your kids are absolutely beautiful!

i have a random question...what's your "process" for going back and posting about past events? for instance, on this trip, did you keep a daily journal or perhaps just a little notebook that you kept notes in each day so you could go back and write about things later? this is just something i've always struggled with, so i was curious about how you work that. :0)
