It was cool, clear and blue this morning and we decided that the best way to spend this gorgeous fall day was to visit Dewberry Farm. This place is amazing. If you're within driving distance and you have kids, you cannot miss it. One day I want to have a farm and recreate all of this cool stuff for my grandkids. I would totally be their favorite.
We left early to get there right when it opened. We had to wait in line for about 10 minutes for our tickets, but then we had an hour before the big crowds arrived.
We went straight to the hay barn, which was our favorite part last year.
This year they had added swings, which looked really fun. Jackson was a little iffy about those and the hay wasn't loosened up yet, so we moved on.
Jackson loved the Fort and the super fast slide. There were only a handful of kids on it.
Later it looked like this.
The roller slide thing.
I don't know what to call this. It was a pony walker crossed with a swing.
This was the kiddie jumper/pillow. That's our child in the red socks that have nothing to do with his blue outfit.
One look at his face and we decided he's getting a trampoline for Christmas. He loves bouncing.
This was obviously Jackson's favorite thing.
Then he saw this.
And it became his new favorite.
Have you not always wanted to try this?
Mother-son bonding.
Mother-daughter bonding.
Annabeth could not be bothered to pose.
Or to smile.
It was just too bright. I'll try again with some other pumpkins on an uglier day.
Sis was not happy about her bow today. She wore it for 30 seconds at a time.
I always knew he was a turkey. Or is that a rooster?
This goat was enjoying a nice little nap in the sun.
Jackson and Curtis doing the rubber duck races.
My sweet little baby goat really needed a nap but wouldn't give in.
So we did. We decided to leave before Annabeth lost what was left of her cool.
Now she smiles...
She sure was cute though.
We bought a huge cup of sweet tea from a vendor on the side of the road and headed back to the city. That's when we heard that Dewberry Farm had been on GMA on Friday and they were expecting 10,000 visitors today. Two words: whoa Nelly.
Farmer Dewberry, thanks for another great visit! We had a lot of fun and we'll be back next year!

Oh I wish there was some place fun like to go around here!! That looks like an absolute blast!!
I LOVE Annabeth's little orange dress and that last picture of you two is soooooo good!!! It definitely needs a frame!!
How incredibly fun!!!!!!!!! And what a great place for kids!!!!!! :)
Lookin good Amanda!
And the orange polka dots are soooo cute. I will have to ignore that the orange is a little burnt looking in the pics. (if you know what I mean) :)
And girls always smile after their hair is messed up. Don't know why. Just wait until AB cuts her first set of bangs. Probably in a very similar way as my 4 year old daughter did, and then proceeded to hide from me for a week. She could only remember to clip her hair back for so long........
How fun for y'all! That little orange dress is too cute for words.
Wow! That looks like great fun!! Too bad the adults can't bounce too. I always loved a tramoline when I was a kid.
Great pictures!!
Leah
Gorgeous weather! Looks like you guys had a great time.
Looks like y'all had a lot of fun! You were right - Annabeth's dress is the cutest thing ever!!!
What a fun place. We need something like that in East Tn. :)
I know Jackson will have a blast with a trampoline. My boys loved a trampoline when they were his age.
Annabeth's dress is soooo cute and I loved her bow. :)
Don't you just love days like that? Ahhh..
Love,
Patty
whoa. 10,000?
Was that the Lord or what, getting you to the farm way before the massive crowds?!!!!
So glad y'all had a great time and the weather cooperated! How much fun will it be next year?!?!
hugs,
rachel
Where is this place--it looks fantastic! Jackson needs a trampoline for sure--but I think he's just lovin' life.
I love the little smile on Annabeth in the last picture, just when you think she can't get any cuter, she does!
This was a perfect day in this area for an outdoors sorta day! It was beautiful and perfect temperature, I think we hit 72. Thank you, Jesus, I was a little done with the 102+!
Awww. Sweet family pics. What a fun day!

Whoa! Are those long-sleeves? Has fall finally arrived in Texas?
You're making me long for a nice day so we can visit the carnival-like apple orchards around our house. They always have a ton of fun things to do, like Dewberry, and it's such a great way to spend a fall day as a family. But it's been so cold up here! No one wants to pet the goats when it's 40 degrees.
Hey! We were there yesterday, too! I would have loved to meet you. Yes, it was crowded but so much fun. My little girls favorite was the pillow, too. I love to see their sweet faces when they are having so much fun and not a care in the world!
Have a blessed day!
WOW! What a great place to go! Looks like a lot of fun. Your children are beautiful!
Happy late 30th birthday.
P.S. I love your sweater!
The End.

So we didn't even make it over to the "fun" things that Jackson did! We saw them, but the lines were long and unfortunately we were on a tight schedule! I love Annabeth's outfit, too cute!! My kids don't smile in the bright sun either, it was beautiful yesterday, but I kind of wished there were a few clouds around!
Fun times and sweet pics!
Have a blessed day!
I'm so glad that you posted these! My daughter is going to Dewberry Farm on Tuesday for her First Grade field trip...and I was wondering what exactly she would be doing! Now I am super glad that I decided to tag along!
What a great day!
I love Annabeths dress. Even though she didn't smile until right by the cars, she still looked cute!
I love your gray sweater too.
That farm looks like a whole lot of fun! I love Annabeth's dress!
That looked like it was alot of fun we don't have anything like that here in Albuquerque NM that I know of we have a corn maze and something out in Moriarity Nm that has hay rides. If I lived close enough I wpuld go to Dewberry that looked like so much fun Jackson looked like he had a great time.
Our little seista looked so cute in her dress and the pic at the end with you and her just beautiful.
Have a wonderful Sunday
Love Carol
Love that big at the end of you and Annabeth - priceless!
What a fun, fall, family day! We have a wonderful farm just like that near our home, and visited it last week. The kids had a ball!
PS. Love the last pic of you and Annabeth! So precious!
Mother and Daughter Jones are dressed so cutely! Love the sweater and the dress.
Dewberry Farms looks like a lot of fun; I'm glad y'all had great weather for it!
So fun. We had thought about going Saturday morning...too bad, we might have actually run into you guys before the big crowds arrived. Annabeth's dress is PRECIOUS!
You have such an adorable family!
You are so welcome, Amanda and thanks for making my day with you kind comments. Making people happy makes all the hard work worth it. I apologize for the long lines. We just can't seem to stay up with the growth. Most of the people have been very understanding. I recommend waiting until November for those who want to avoid the crowds. Hope to see you at the Farm again.
Farmer Dewberry
Jackson's priceless face makes me want to jump on a trampoline all day long!
I am SO sorry that Annabeth is entering the "I don't want to wear my bow phase". I hope it passes quickly... we are still in it!
Looks like you all had a blast! Jackson is sure to love a trampoline for Christmas!
Love,
Jennifer
That looks awesome!!!
We had a field trip there on Thursday. It was our first time and so much fun!
WOW! Wish it was closer to us..looks so fun!
Love you gray sweater....do you mind sharing where you got the pretty thing???
LOVE that last picture! Isn't it fun having kids??
LOVE those pics--looks like fun! That is such a cute dress on AB. Love the last Mommy-daughter pic. WRT to the other post, glad you got through the weaning. I've never had children and have never discussed it with my friends that have, but I can only imagine the horrible hormone flux!!
My little family and I were there on Saturday, as well! In fact, as my (middle) son Logan and I were coming out of the livestock barn, I nearly ran into Jackson -- and I seriously did a double-take, because I thought that was him (and it was!). Curtis was three steps behind, and then I looked right next to my husband and other two boys and you and Annabeth were right there as well!
I almost went up to say hi and introduce myself, but I chickened out. I don't know how often that happens, and you were out for a fun day with your family...so I really didn't want to bother you. Plus, my 3 1/2 year old son was having a "moment" that needed to be addressed. :) Anyhow, I enjoy reading your blog -- we are apparently in the same stages of life with our little ones! And we're both Aggies! I'm class of '01.
Keep up the good words! Thanks!
That last pic is a framer! Your sweater is TOO stinkin' cute. I want it. So glad y'all got to spent that BEAUTIFUL day outside.
Oh, WHAT a neat place!!! We have pumpkin patches around here, but man...nothing like this!!
I have stopped by your blog before but never commented. I had to comment once I saw this post. We were there last weekend too! We have some of the same pictures (I posted us girls with the bus too, lol). Anyway, your sweet princess is adorable! I love her dress.
Your blog is very cute!
Very Cute and fun pictures Little Momma. I like Annabeth's orange dress:) Smiling:)
