No words are needed for these precious pictures. The joy of life is so obvious in Jackson. I can just hear his squeels of glee. And little Annabeth. Just being her girly self. You're kids warm my heart.

I LOVE the little brown outfit. Where do you get winter clothes? My daughter is going to be cold if I do not find some soon.

When you live in a place that has winter 6-8 months/year you forget that the sight of snow excites some folks. I'm happy that you got snow today...I know it is a rarity for you. We however woke up to -3 degrees today. It was a blistering 0, by the time I got to my office.

So cute!! The brown bear is adorable--where in the world did you find that? I think Jackson would've love more snow! He looks very excited.

Beckham must've had a great time! Was that a yawn:)

We got flurries in College Station, nothing stuck. However, any leaves we had left on the trees are 'raining' down now! It's beginning to 'feel' a lot like Christmas, maybe I can start wrapping presents today!

Allison said...

You know they are going to be talking about this for the next six years...until it snows again! Remember when we were six and it snowed on Christmas? And then again in seventh grade. Ahhh, the joys of snow in Houston!!!!

I just found your blog through Renee Swope. Oh. my. word. I was absolutely cracking up, and am still dealing with baby bangs myself (my son will be 8 months on the 21). Can't wait to visit often! God Bless.

What precious pictures! That leaf looks mighty tasty!

It snowed here in Shreveport, too! I took my little one out to play- sans heavy jacket, because we aren't used to wearing one in the winter. She lasted about two minutes and then lost interest.

Hi Amanda,

I know this is a really weird question to ask but I would love your two cents. I am trying to find a good pair of jeans and I know you are a lover of things that fit well. I recently bought a pair of sevens but they just sit a little too low and being a mom of two little guys, I cant have my pants that low (I bend over way too often). I was wondering if there is a particular style of sevens you wear or recommend or if you've found another brand you like a lot. I know this is so silly to ask someone I don't even know. I just find all my girlfriends in the same boat, we can't find a decent pair that are both cute and appropriate. I feel like I either have mom butt in the jeans that sit high enough or I look cute but can't bend over or I tug my pants up constantly.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind me asking here.

Love that you guys just had snow! How fun!! Being in Florida we haven't had any in YEARS!

I am feeling really stupid right now, but I have no idea what the word "nieve" means. I even Googled it, but nothing came up. Can you help out a poor girl from the east?

Fun snow pictures. We get plenty of snow here in PA, and I would happily move south if it wasn't for family!

Doesn't happen too often in your neck of the woods, does it?! Snowed here in Little Rock one day, but it was raining first so it was much too nasty to get the little ones out in it, unfortunately. Glad you all enjoyed it!!
