There's No Theme

Jackson wanted me to take a picture of him, but then he got all shy. Notice the basket of once-folded clothes in the background. It literally sat there for a week until I dumped it out last night and refolded everything.

This was right before we headed to the mall to get my new Mac.

And here we are with mega-increased awesomeness!

I just happened to have my camera out when Annabeth got in big trouble for hitting daddy. This was her tragic reaction to being scolded.

She hasn't done it again.

Lately I've had a horrible weakness for this. Cold, crunchy pieces of chocolate (and strawberries) swimming in frozen yogurt = brilliance.

I can so relate to the laundry!!! Mine sits and sits until I finally can't stand looking at it anymore! Your children are beautiful!!

God Bless.

Amanda you are looking fantastic! I, too, relate to the laundry all to well with a 4 month old :)

Oh - the frozen yogurt and strawberries looks so good. Is this your own concoction or did you buy it? Details please.

I thought once our children moved out there would be less laundry, there is less, but not much.

Wow, the picture of Annabeth's face when she got in trouble made me laugh out loud! She's adorable, and her hair is precious. : )

Annabeth is looking so cute with her hair growing. You look gorgeous - I guess buying a Mac must agree with you! :)

Annabeth's hair is getting long :) Your hair is beautiful as well...

I always think your pictures turn out so well... If you get a chance can you tell me what kind of camera you have. I have been thinking of getting a new one. Your pictures turn out so clear and crisp...

Blessings Amanda..

Toknowhim - I've had an older model Canon Digital Rebel until recently. Curtis got me a Canon 50D for our anniversary.

ANNABETH's hair is SOOOOOO long!!! And Scott would be SO proud of you and your mac. He has tried to bring me over but so far I'm still pecking away on my old dell which he calls "aw.....your pitiful little computer". (On that note - when we went with Compassion - everyone that went each night pulled out their mac including Scott and there i was with my tiny pitiful Dell. It was sort of sad). ha! I felt like I was totally in the uncool club.

Love Jackson's Aggie t-shirt! Sillyness is what this age is all about. The picture of Daddy and Annabeth is adorable, too!

I think of laundry as a four-letter word! I just can't seem to get it all done in one day, there's only two of us!!

Enjoy your new Mac!!

Nina has tragic reactions to being scolded too. It breaks my heart how sad she gets.

You're beautiful.

You look gorgeous! Btw, we have the exact same Wal-mart dress (on AB) but we got it in red. Isnt it great and organic?!

Welcome to the Mac club! We've fallen for them and like them so much! Maybe you can take some silly pictures with the kids on photobooth and throw those on your blog :) we always get lots of giggles when we break out the effects!

I'm so glad Annabeth hasn't hit anymore! Hopefully her "punishment" will stick with her and she won't decide to do it again--we can always hope!

Love the picture of Curtis and Annabeth after she got in trouble. That look will cost him thousands before she is grown!! You look GREAT!

Okay, side note but, I love your paint color! Do you know the name of it?

I thought it was funny that buying new workout outfits tends to make your take an extended break from running! That happens with me too! I thought I was the only one who buys new running shoes and then just walks for a month or two! :)

How many days a week are you running! It looks like you lost a few pounds! You look cute!

I may have to try WW & running now! I have a 14 month old and I NEED to loose this extra baby weight!

Amanda, recently my husband submitted a new idea at his work to help them save money ... they awarded him a $500 on-the-spot award/reward! I was so tickled. We went right down a got a new Gateway laptop! Yahoo! And free!!

You have the BEST hair! So thick and long!! That is the first thing I thought when I read the post, and then I got tickled at the other comments about Annabeth's hair!! I am trying to decide whether to cut my little girls hair in a bob or let it grow long! We don't have good hair like you...can't decide what to do!

Love the new Mac!

Amanda said...

Ali, we had it copied from the paint at my parents' house. Theirs is called Latte but I don't know the brand of paint. Sorry!

Chaeli, Freshberry is the best! I'm obsessed with the blueberries they have.

Heather, I'm laughing so hard about your comment because I was experimenting with the editing features on iPhoto and overdid it a bit. Ha!

Heather said...

Friend, there is no editing done there!! I have seen it in the flesh!!! Flawless!!! :)

My 2yo, C, has that same dress as Annabeth. She LOVES it and asks to wear it every day. And I love Tarjay. :)

A's face in that last picture is priceless!

Our family will be heading your way soon on our 3 week road trip. Have some sunshine ready for us - but don't wilt us okay? HA HA :)
