It was such a joy when Sarah was born to us 20 years ago. And after many years of infertility and miscarriages, we gave up trying. But God had other plans. We were told it was a boy to be born to us 11 years ago. Ummmm, Emily decided to surprise us all. I asked my husband when she was born if he was disappointed that he didn't get a son. With teary eyes he said "Not for a minute!"
Love it! Hope y'all had a good day with daddy today. It was great to see you- who knew you had a baby? You look fantastic!! Enjoy your week and savor the size 3 diapers while they last..........Em
I'm de-lurking! Love your blog! And i just had to say the couple of pics of Annabeth and her daddy laying on the couch are my fave! The matching bald heads are adorable! :)
Ahh how sweet. You have got some fabulous pics in there. :) I really love the candid family pic on the couch. Or the one where Annabeth is making the I Love You sign with her fingers. So cute.
Just a sidenote... Girl (and I seriously mean this in the sweetest way) you gotta change your profile pic! Your precious little girl isn't in it. :-)
This is really cute, Amanda! So creative! Thanks so much for all your sweet comments on our blog! We are loving having this little girl...aren't girls so much fun?
I think I am way too hormonal right now, I wanted to tear up watching that video! Those pictures say it all about Curtis with that little girl!:):) I had not heard that song yet, either! My man, I can tell, wants a boy. I think it's a guy thing. If it's a girl, he also already has plans to make her an outdoors girl. Hmm, knowing my sisters and my momma, we'll see about that:)
That was pretty neat I can relate to the other seista with Reba in the background and Curtis holding Annabeth that was cool I am a Reba fan as well have alot of her old cd and concert stuff one day I will make a scrapbook. Happy Fathers Day Curtis. Carol Albuquerque NM
Besides a baby, what pregnant women get in return for surrendering their waistlines is nine months of thick, glorious hair. It’s a beautiful thing. However, when Baby is just a few months old (about the time Mommy is seeing hints of her returning waistline) it all falls out. Soon her face is framed by the re-growth—lovely inch-long hairs called baby bangs. This blog is named for that charming little phenomenon.

I need to personally give a shout out to the pic of Curtis & Annabeth with Reba in the background. That. Is. Awesome.
And, in case you were wondering, I'm kind of a Reba fan. A little. Sort of. I mean, she's my BFF, she just doesn't know it yet. :)
