Do we have time to still mail it? I wanted to write one, but haven't had the chance (got my wisdom teeth out, then got an infection and finally got on some antibiotics and am feeing a lot better). Just making sure...

I have not forgotten, but have had just schtuff on my mind, so that my words may not have come across well. I'll be sending it tomorrow, Amanda! Thanks for giving me more time.

I'm so glad to read this. I had wanted to send a letter, but struggled with exactly what to write. Then in church yesterday we sang a praise song based on Isaiah 40 and it just made me think of Kristi. I'm glad I have more time!

Hey girl! I have it all ready, can I just bring it to you tomorrow night? If it's easier for me to mail it I will. Just let me know!

Thanks for the extension! I just couldn't get it done last week. Sigh. Anyway, would you like it to be sent via overnight mail? Let me know!

Rebecca

p.s. The day you originally posted about this, I received an email encouraging writers to involve themselves in random acts of "writing" to those we love and those people in our lives that we do not know. How fitting to get an invitation from you to participate in a random act of writing...an act that will deeply move the heart of the woman reading them. Thanks for the invite, Amanda. You are truly a servant of the Lord to bless a Kristi in this way.

I'm praying for kristi as well, but haven't gotten a letter out. Probably won't be able to at this point. Please keep us updated on her status.
also, could you let us know where you found those drapes for jackson's room, that are lined for darkness? i've got a 2 year old who would benefit greatly from them :)

You don't know me, but I just found about this book for Kristi. I know her from Baylor and church here in Cary, and I live right near her here in Holly Springs. Would it be ok for me to send my page 2 day tomorrow? You can e-mail me at robinmuse@nc.rr.com. Thanks so much!

I didn't get one out! I first found your blog a few days ago and it was already too late (or so I thought)- I wish I had read this post sooner! She has been on my mind since I first read your blog. :(

I am a breast cancer survivor at the ripe old age of 35 and wanted to drop a line to say I am praying for this family. Please keep us updated.

I'm blessed by the opportunity to be part of this encouraging project. When my mom was in the hospital, every kindess was appreciated. While I was printing a copy of the prayer the Lord gave me in October for Kristi - the Lord gave me another one to pray for them, so I sent them both!

I just put my page in the mail - I hope it is not too late! I know Kristi from BU and life here in Raleigh. Thanks so much for organizing this!

Amanda, forgive me-as this comment isn't in response to what your post was about. I just had to ask a favor . . .

I'm not certain as to how much your mom is able to read all comments on the LPM blog, so I was hoping that you could get this message to her if mine "slips through the cracks."

I started the Esther study at my church yesterday (read: The Day AFTER the inauguration) and I don't need to tell you how timely her first lesson was-namely in her choice and explanation of the set behind her. Oh my gosh!!!! Can we get a more timely message??? I think not. Interestingly enough, we were to have started our study last Wed, but it was canceled due to snow. I think the Lord was all about that delay to help encourage us on a day that a lot of us needed a reminder of a true AND real hope to believe in. Please give her my thanks!!!

In His Grip,
Kari G
