Round Top 2010

We spent the Friday after Thanksgiving in a little town called Round Top, Texas, with some dear friends who are like family. They stay at a retreat center there every year and we enjoy getting to drive out there and hang out during the day. The weather was cool, clear and gorgeous and the company was as warm as could be. We had a great time chatting with the Seeligs, Richardsons and Purcells and letting our kids run all over creation. I can't wait for next year when Baby Girl Purcell will be here with us!

Ok, this is probably nuts, but is that the same front porch where Living Beyond Yourself was filmed? I just remember thinking that all of those scenes were extraordinarily beautiful, in their American country way. Maybe it's just similar?
Anyway, glad you had a nice time with friends!

I was in Round Top for the holiday weekend as well. We spent Friday evening at the Stone Cellar! The Richardson family you mentioned didn't happen to be Kirk and Peg Richardson (mu uncle and his wife)?

Either way, glad your family is enjoying that lovely town!

Wow! Everything's so green! Everything's white here. Can I join your world! At least for the winter. Okay, okay. I'm stuck here in my winter wonderland. Let me guess you'd rather be in my world! Isn't that so like us! But the grass really is greener on your side of the fence! I don't even have grass right now. It's dead. And that little girl of yours is getting cuter every day! I could just eat her up! I don't know how any of you can stand it! She's just so cute she could kill you!

I think that Annabeth's clothes will be watched as closely as her Bibby's! :)

I love the picture of Annabeth on the ground. So carefree and innocent. And her little sweater is Precious!

I think once AB realizes how photogenic she is that she will adore the camera:) Just sayin.
