Like a Little Grape Jelly Bean

Something about Annabeth in these purple Baby Legs melts my heart.

She also just looks so adorable in that clip.

I later learned that it was a choking hazard. Stink!

We got this Pottery Barn "Anywhere Chair" for Jackson's first birthday. We've gotten so much use out of this thing and now it's getting another chance at life! It even matches my couches now.

This picture does me in. Look at those squishy arms! I love her so much!

Annabeth, you are ten and a half months old. You started pulling up about a week ago and now you're cruising along the furniture. You're finally getting a second tooth on your bottom gums. You've had two colds in the last two weeks, which stinks. When you get a cold we call you Crusted Beaut. Beaut is short for beautiful. Today you slipped backwards in the bathtub and the water covered you. I sat you up quickly and you didn't even cry. Your favorite thing is Cheerios. You just realized how fun it is to throw food off of your high chair. Not so fun for Mommy! You're loving the table food we give you and aside from the throwing, you're very good at feeding yourself. You love to wave and say "Bye bye bye." You clap any time you hear music. You clapped throughout Jackson's Christmas program. Sometimes you clasp your hands together and "flex your muscles" like Jackson used to do. Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I have another child who does that! You love your brother so much and he loves you back. I always wanted an older brother and I'm glad you get to have one - and a great one at that. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I'm so glad you're here with us this year. It's going to be a special year! I love you.
-Mom

To bad that clip was a hazard. For some reason it is adorable. Makes her look so big! I can't believe she's almost one. Crazy!

P.S. I forgot to say that Jackson (from the LPM blog pics) is such a handsome little man. Y'all better watch out! ;)

I remember when my youngest daughter slipped in the pool and water covered her. I've never forgotten that image of her under water or how quickly something like that can happen! So scarey.

I'm getting baby fever lately. My girls are 10 and 13 but my stepson and his wife are expecting a baby boy the end of April. Yay!

I know you already said it, but please watch that hairbow. My little 9 month old ate a small version of that about two months ago. Well, I wasn't sure she ate it and then it reappeared in the diaper! Yikes!

Oh, my word! I love purple so much!! Add polka dots in the mix...and, well, I wouldn't be above trying to pull those things off as "lower arm warmers" for myself!! (Absolutely adore Baby Legs. Now...I've just got to get on having another GIRL so I can hunt down those purple ones!!)

Oh, and this has absolutely nothing to do with this perfectly precious post, but I was thinking about you the other day when I posted this: http://davidsonden.blogspot.com/2009/12/merry-christmas-mommy.html

Don't know why. Just that you should start training Jackson right NOW to stay away from his sister's hair. (So you can avoid the heart attack I had.) A word of explanation: She used to have hair down to her waist and NO bangs. :)

Hey! Just been thinking about you traveling all those hours in the car. I am worn out after traveling a couple hours and can't imagine how adventurous it would be with two small babies/toddler. Praying for your safety!!! Bethany

She is really really really adorable!!! How bout a handband bow in place of the clip. No fear of choking, but a little harder to trick her into leaving along. You know I love the hair accessories!!!!
