These are some pictures I took around downtown Sydney.
Sunset over the harbour.
That is Luna Park (I hope I got that right) lit up across the water.
This is a mailbox.
This is part of the Harbour Bridge, which will get its own post.
My sweet mama.
This is a very fuzzy shot of the Opera House.
There's an old ship in this pic, if you can see it. This is by an area called The Rocks.
The Opera House was beautiful at every time of day.
This is where all the ferries came. I think it was called Circular Quay (pronounced like key).
This is The Rocks during the day. There was a Chinese restaurant in there where we tried to eat on our first day, but we ended up leaving after seeing the crazy expensive prices. We later learned that all the restaurants and pretty much everything is super expensive in Sydney.
Mom and me.
One night we had dessert at this chocolate restaurant called Max Brenner's. Apparently they have one in NYC, but I'd never been to one before. It was like a La Madeleine for chocolate lovers.
Chris Caine, Mom and Priscilla.
Priscilla's hot chocolate came in a perfect little mug that you can cradle in your hands.
This was a crepe with chocolate and bananas sent from Heaven above.
We were discussing words you could never use on a stage in America that you can use in Australia and vice versa.
This was the view from Mom's hotel room. Gorgeous.
The cliff in the distance reminded me of England.
Oh Sydney, how we loved you!

Amanda there is a Max Brenners in NYC, it's not far from us. We love going there! They don't have the Willy Wonka sign up in the one here, but we've often described it as that to other people. Looks like you guys had a great time!
What a fantastic trip! The Ukrainians make "pancakes" called /muhleentsi'/ which are similar to crepes. My favorite is one with chocolate and hazelnuts and raisins...amazing!!
Love the mailbox and hot chocolate mug! I love seeing cool things like that that are different for us. And of course, I'd love to hear more on the words not okay in Australia but here and vice versa. Hee Hee
Your pictures are incredible. They look like professional postcards! Thanks for sharing your trip with us! Blessings to you and your family!
So happy to have you back Amanda!
Words you can say in Australia that you can't say here?!? Now there's a post.
Love the pictures. So glad you go to go, friend.
Beautiful picture! You can turn those pictures into postcard magnets. Makes a great gift and keep sake :)
Great pictures! I love the one of your Mom and Priscilla! :)
